Against As the Department of Justice (DOJ) has stated on many occasions, Congress has determined that marijuana is a controlled substance. Congress placed marijuana in Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) and, as such, growing, distributing, and possessing marijuana in any capacity, other than as part of a federally authorized research program, is a violation of federal law regardless of state laws permitting such activities. The prosecution of individuals and organizations involved in the trade o Mar-29-2011
For This a detailed, well researched bill that assists Medical Cannibis patients by clarifying rules regarding Medical Cannibis. The voters decided Medical Cannibis is to be legal, please give us the means to purchase it legally. Set reasonable guidelines for patients and business owners assisting patients. This will save tax dollars wasted on raids. Make money for the state by regulating, give guidelines. Pass AB438, clarity is what is needed. This bill provides much. Thank you Mar-28-2011

For Medical Marijuana patients in the state of Nevada NEED a bill LIKE THIS! Keep the DMV out of it and wrap all of this into existing HIPPA laws, which the state is currently violating. The only people who should know anything about my health condition(s) and what I use to treat it are me and my doctor! Mar-24-2011

For I have seen lives turn around when the find the medical use for Marijuana. Sometimes is will replace 2 or more prescription drugs with no side effects. Cancer patients start getting good results within minutes after trying this natural substance. I am 55 years old and been around this subject for over 30 years and just pass a physical. My doctor told me that I have nice clear lungs. It is a shame how the first law past, with patients having to break the law to enjoy the benefits of this natural medici Mar-23-2011

For this is the type of law that need to be enacted and combined with the current vague and ambigous bill the state of Nevada currently has. whether all of this bill is enacted or a portion it will still sum up and give Nevadans a proper understanding of the current law as well as provide protection. Mar-22-2011
For We NEED to have a way to access our medicine without FEAR!! Metro has the list of patients & is one by one going to our homes, breaking down our front doors, destroying our belongings & taking whatever they please. They are under the belief that we are all some sort of criminals & we are NOT!! They do NOT understand our conditions, nor our need to use Cannabis. They also DO NOT understand nor have many of them even READ the law. We NEED protection, NOT police home invasions!! PLEASE pass this bill or AB23 Mar-22-2011

For This bill represents critical reform. The people mandated in Article 4, Section 38 of the NV Const. an “appropriate method of supply for authorized patients”. Study after study show medical benefits of cannabis. It is time to put science & neighborly compassion ahead of fear & social conservatism. Passage will bring relief to thousands of Nevadans suffering from a plethora of illnesses. 75% of Nevadans support this issue. The only political downside is for those who oppose this bill.
